This research fund supports collaborative climate resilience and sustainability research between scholars based at the University of Cambridge and African universities/research institutions. Awards aim to catalyse new or strengthen existing research linkages that address climate-related challenges across disciplines that link to sustainability and resilience.
Eligibility
- Pairs of researchers, one from the University of Cambridge and one from an African university or research institute
- Applicants must be post-doctoral level or above (equivalent experience may be considered)
- Collaboration must be genuine, joint, and research-driven (not one institution doing work on behalf of the other)
- Research must focus on climate resilience and sustainability (interpreted broadly across disciplines)
- Both applicants should have a formal link/contracted affiliation with their institutions
