The Productive Use Financing Facility (PUFF), led by CLASP with support from the Global Energy Alliance for People and Planet, supports appliance suppliers and distributors to scale energy-efficient productive use technologies in emerging markets, including Ethiopia, through grants, subsidies, and technical assistance across off-grid, mini-grid, and grid-connected markets.

- Companies that supply or distribute productive use appliances (PUAs) in eligible African markets (including Ethiopia).

- Businesses focused on energy-efficient technologies such as solar water pumps, refrigerators, milling machines, walk-in cold rooms, and other appliances that enable income generation.
- Ability to participate in the PUFF application process and comply with technical requirements (e.g., quality assurance).
