The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) has launched a call for applications for AgriTech startups to join the timbuktoo Pan-African Incubation Network and the timbuktoo AgriTech Hub, hosted in Ghana, with support from the Government of Japan, which is designed to identify, support and prepare promising startups building innovative solutions for Africa’s agricultural transformation.
Eligibility Criteria
- Open to AgriTech startups based in Africa
- Startups should be developing innovative, scalable solutions within the agricultural or food systems sector
- Applicants must demonstrate a clear value proposition, traction, or potential for impact and growth
- Solutions should address real-world challenges such as food security, productivity, or supply chain efficiency
- Women-led, youth-led, and inclusive startups are strongly encouraged to apply
